I founded Remarkable Legal with one mission: to help entrepreneurs, creators, and legal professionals safeguard what matters most to creatives, getting paid for what they create and making sure they don’t lose it all. Safeguarding and defending the rights of creatives has been my mission as an attorney for over 35 years. I have spent years in the business of music, protecting and defending rights. 

I’m a business owner and entrepreneur myself, and I know the challenges of building and running a business. I began my career as a licensed talent agent, was an artist manager signed to a major recording agreement, and administered music publishing for Eddie Money and Bill Graham. I returned to law practice as an advocate for the rights of artists, publishers, and independent record labels, and for any and all businesses committed to growing and profiting from their creative intelligence.

As an attorney, I’ve litigated cases in federal courts throughout the U.S., defending rights in trademarks and copyrights in the music, publishing, fashion, technology, and services industries.  I’ve represented hundreds of clients ranging from high-profile authors, entertainers, music industry professionals, publishers, fashion brands, industry organizations, and business owners.

My years in the music business, combined with years of litigation experience, uniquely prepared me to provide business owners and the clients of other legal professionals with specialized expertise to protect trademarks, copyrights, and digital assets, and guide clients through transaction licenses, buy or sell intangible assets. I negotiate and draft contracts that seal the deal, get you paid, or get you out of the deal if you don’t. The rest is legalese.
